Welcome to the Broken Spur Ranch. We’re so glad you’re here. The ranch is a children’s petting zoo but is a place for kids of all ages that wish to get back to nature.Mingle with the animals, including horses, rabbits, peacocks, and more. Hey kids, you can’t miss Snorty the Pig…if you don’t find him, he’ll find you because he just loves kids.Ride, hike or walk the trails and view Black Creek falls from the scenic overlook.
Developed by SSG Kevin Lippincott, an active duty member of the US Army’s 10th Mountain Division at Fort Drum, the ranch is a tranquil spot to simply relax and enjoy the quiet surroundings.Kevin fell in love with the region while stationed here and has decided to call this home for himself and his family of creatures when he retires.
Broken Spur is a work in progress so each time you visit there will be a new experience.Need to get away from the hustle of everyday life?We can help.Need a spot to have a small family gathering or a special celebration? We can help.We love to share this special place with those that are interested and we think that someone is you.
We don’t have an admission fee to visit however we do welcome contributions toward the feeding and care of our animals. Please call the ranch office at 315-628-5415 to set up a time to visit. When we’re home, we would love to meet you.
